Priority 1 means its gonna get built within a week or two. My code went to a priority 1 on a Thursday and 11 days later was built. It came by convoy ~500 miles and had it another 4 days later. My delivery was abnormally fast from most but it all depends on how and where its shipping. If you have a priority 1, you should have a vin number and build date this week if not already have it.

some of our memebers had issues getting it from NJ to Manhattan,LI etc. Tell your dealer to tell the trucking company to make it a priority/rush, so they put the car on the first available truck from the trainyard.Assume your dealer is in NJ--but if its on LI, it can take weeks to get there from NJ.Being a NYer (bronx), you know money talks,so maybe offer the transport guy at the dealer a few bucks to get it in at most a week from the railyard to your dealer--good luck, youll luv this car--did you get a stipe??

CAN EXPECT CAR IN 2-4 WEEKS THEN? IT IS LANDING IN CT

I wouldn't expect that. I sure didn't. I just got lucky I think. I was much more patient after I had a VIN. The car it somewhat traceable then. Prior to that you are completely in the dark. I would say the average wait after a VIN is approximately 4-6 weeks.

There has been hype on the airwaves about there being a material issue for the 11's? I just ordered 2 weeks ago. What have u heard?:doh::doh: I guess I got my answer from several previous messages. My car was about July 6ish so I guess a material hold is the slow down. The dealership said they would try to have it fast tracked to get here sooner but I guess I will wait for now. :mail:

Citysound, welcome to Team Shelby. Just a couple of posting points/tips...

1. If you want to reply to someone's post, you can either click on the reply button located at the bottom of their post, or you can click on the multiquote button which will include their post in your reply.

2. You should not, do not, need to open another window showing their post, then create a second reply window below it to respond. You just end up clogging the forum with duplicate windows of posts that were already created earler.

3. Generally speaking, unless you have a vision issue (no, I'm not being a smart ass, we do have members with poor vision that need to post in caps), it's generally regarded as poor form to type in caps unless you are pissed off and yelling.

Just a couple of tips to make your experience here a good one.

EDIT... looks like you got it while I was posting this. :salute:

Is this the political forum, because this kind of response above sounds like an answer from a politician in Washington D.C. or a state legislative body.

Example of a simple answer (not including tax & license issues) = 2010 cost me $50,000 - 2011 cost me $55,000 - dealer gave me $45,000 for my 2010 = $5,000 financial hit and another $5,000 to upgrade.

ORDERED ON JULY 6 CHANGED COLORS ABOUT 6 TIMES. ENDED UP GETTING PERF WHITE WITH RED STRIPES. LAST THURSDAY ADDED SVT PACKAGE

seen a white red here and it looked very nice.Like the white/grabber blue better, just me.BTW, material hold doesnt have any special significance, other than the car isnt scheuled yet.Unless the dealer doesnt have an allocation, then its a big problem
