foooz
I am considering adding a sub to my audio system. I have an 07 with the nav system. Has anyone built or found a box that fits nicely in the trunk? Is the wiring harness behind the trunk liner? I am planning to place an amp on the sub box. scott
Sherri Leicht
I have some friends that are using my 07 as a test mule for making a sub box that fits the verts. So far a foam model has been made to use for a casting. Will let you know more when the next step is done. It will have the amp attached to it like the Kicker subs. And as I am anal about my Shelby staying Shelby, we will use the speakers and amp out of my gutted Kicker sub
TexasShelby
I bought a Rockford Fosgate "Saleen" Punch powered sub not long ago and had it installed. It works pretty well for the money. Not a competition thumper. Just adds a little more tight bass to my Shaker 500. It's very compact as well which helps in the verts tiny trunk. I gave $410+shipping for it. If interested PM and I'll give you the sellers info. Or if that's not enough, there is this big boy. I think this is about the best you can get for our cars. The best I know of is the JL Audio Sub, it's expensive and needs an amp, but I'm sure will knock the doors off.
