eibach is months away and my car is getting dropped offto get modded next week.Where can i get a quality lowering kit??

Depends on what your goals are. If you just want it lower & that's all FRPP has one. If you want full adjustability & better handling, Ground Control sells a full kit. It's on my 12 month list behind some other stuff.....

did any of you who changed springs change lower control arm relocation brackets as well?? . I am wondering if its a "must have"or i can get away without it.. I would think if it was ford racing would mention it.Also, i dont understand why H&R would do their lowering kit backwards. .75" Rear and 1.0 front. The back needs to be dropped more than the front?????.........I dont want mine slammed, im think ing around an inch but i want the rear dropped a little more than the front. Also, the H&R is just a gt kit anyway.Same part # as gt.

I agree Shelby, that should be the other way around, everything about this car I love, but the ride hight sucks, but I don't want to rice it up either by going to low. I had a measuring tape on the wheel well to tire, it would look great lowered 1.5 rear and 3/4 front, just my 2 cents.

10,000 lbs? How about a pic. What are we inflating - the Superdome?

:hysterical2: Sorry Ruffer I should have explained. I'm part owner in a painting co. AML Painting Inc. We do comercial and industrial work. The compresor is made by Sullivan, 750cfm, V8 Detroit diesel, and it's a mobile unit. It supplies us with enough presure to run 2 600lbs sandblasting pots with 110psi at each pot, plus breathing air for the men and gobles up fuel at an alarming rate. Hope this clears it up for you.

If I were you, I'd buy the Ford kit made for the shelby with a 1.25 drop all around or the Eiback at 1.3 Front, 1.4 rear also with a specific shelby part number.........and they guarantee no further drop(sag). You are right, the H&R is a GT kit not taking into account the Shelbys heavier front so you will get more of a drop than advertised.

Ok, let me ask it this way,

Where can i buy a ford racing lowering kit for my car. I know of all the people who"make them" I need to know where i can BUY ONE.

None of the vendors listed on the ford racing page have a clue.......

I haven't called aroud yet, Its shown in the new 2007 FRPP catalog but the price isn't listed and I couldn't find it on the FRPP website. My guess is its brand new, heres the part# though M-2007-SVT3.

Heres the FRPP handling kit for the Mustang GT, they GT500 is similar but has adjustable dampers and no tower brace.

I think i figured out that nobody has actually bought a lowering kit for a shelby except for the one that evolution sells. It sounds to me that anybody who has lowered the car has done so with a mustang gt kit. Im not going to put a gt kit on my car becuase i want what belongs on it and i dont want to be diving any more than it does stock when i stop. Im going to wait for the ford racing part # 5300-L or the eibach set up. Im pretty confident that evolution is just throwing gt springs at their customers too.If ford and ebach (huge company's) havent finished them yet than, i dont think evolution has the greatest set up for the car.Too soon for quality. Seems like alot of their customers are drag racers.Im not, im a street car man. I want to make the car handle better not worse. If the extra 300 lbs in the front didnt matter than ford and eibach wouldnt bother making a different kit. Will the others work? Im sure they will but i think I personally would rather wait a little bit and get the right front springs for the car.

Im waiting for the FRPP handling package. The kit was a hit for the 05-07 GT's and the Adjustable thing sounds like a bonus. I want my suspension better but I want it all done right.

I called Ford yesterday and still no release date. He told me to call back in a month or so. :censored:
