JeffJ
Yea, she was given the car as per her job now she is trying to make bank off it... I find this amusing She didn't even get market for it at $90K.
39Mustang
She didn't even get market for it at $90K. Haven't seen a single Series 1 sell more than $100k in a year and did her's have the Supercharger or not? At a special event at the Texas Motor Speedway in 2001 that was suppose to be a 'coming out party' for the Series 1's I got raced around the road circuit in a modified Series 1 driven by Bob Bondurant and holy comes to mind! That car was bad ass considering it was powered by an Oldsmobile too... The dash on the car is not exciting but rest of car top to bottom was first class and if you ever get to drive one you'll agree
kb67
I saw that the West Coast Customs mustang didn't go that high I think that big time bling is going away the Dub mustang did really well it was a solid car nothing to far over the top. As for Amy's series 1 its her car let here do what she wants with it. I'd would have had a CSX in aluminum with a 427 if that was going to be part of my compensation. I did notice how the TV commentators credited her with getting the Ford & Shelby partnership going again they also said she had left and went to WCC. Only reason I find that interesting is when I've watched other auctions I thought they just focused on the cars and maybe something about how the person has a collection of this or that or is a collector of a certain type or brand. To me they should have left that personal stuff out it makes no difference on the price or quality of the car on the block guess they were filling airtime that car sat there awhile during bidding without much going on. twobjshelbys
I recorded yesterday on the DVR and watching it this morning. I skip over lots. Lot #351 was a really gorgeous 70 Mach1 with a 351C and shaker hood. Went for $50K. Absolutely crazy. That car would have gone for $150K in Scottsdale. Is California just cheap??? Some nice little Austin-Healey's going for low prices too. I'm becoming attracted to them. Nice little roadsters with civilian characteristics. HSURB®
It's amazing how the prices have corrected overall since 2007. Some pieces still go high, but overall the market seems to be down. HSURB®
