Alloy Snake
Hood shake at speed is normal-Hood pins may help by adding additional pressure.Rattles and noises-Normal on all the ones I have ridden in.I get the turning squeak from the rear and a pop infront of the drivers seat. chimazo
When I first drove my car at higher speeds, I thought I hadn't latched the hood fully! Just normal hood movement, at least on these cars...
Jolly Roger
My hood doesn't shake until I get to about 130 mph. Sounds like you need to make an adjustment....
texaggie
I would look at both issues. the hood may not be set properly. It will shake at some point, but as stated earlier it should not do it until you are at a good speed. The popping could just be your car bottoming out, but i would check the suspension system. I had a problem with mine a while back, and it would make a kind of popping sound when I hit bumps. Good luck
i8acobra
Sound going over bumps in neutral could be a tranny mount. Was a VERY common problem on GM F-Bodies.
