Goats4ever
My owner's manual is packed away in storage otherwise I would look there, but while getting on the Snake, the SVT light under the tach number's lights up. Any one know why? Thanks in advance. Jim

Goats4ever
It's a programable shift light Thx! Do the Shelby SS techs program the shift light for the SS, or are the shift points the same as an unmodified GT500? Jim
BoneDoc
Thx! Do the Shelby SS techs program the shift light for the SS, or are the shift points the same as an unmodified GT500? Jim Jim you can program the shift light to come on at whatever RPM you want it to. I programmed shortly after I got the car (way back in 2006!) so i dont remember the steps but it is in the owners manual. ROn

Phill I believe this is what you're looking for. GT500-2007
I do believe that the techs program the shift light for the SS when they do the upgrade. The shift points are slightly different then with the factory GT500. GT
Goats4ever
Thx Gents. Items like this should be addressed in the owner's manual. Jim
shelbykam
The shift light is owner preference. If it were me I would set it to the max and if it were my father it would be set at 3500rpm......Adjusting them is not standard procedure for an SS build. At least not a year and a half ago when I was building them. B)
