thewheelman
A heart felt "thank you" to all those men and women who daily volunteer to defend our nation and our liberty and a solemn moment to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. We spent the day cruising and touring Shiloh (TN) National Battlefield Park. Re-enactors performed weapons demonstrations from the Revolutionary War to the present and the National Cemetery was covered in tiny American flags. The park is, as I find all of them, beautiful, humbling and awe inspiring. Makes you appreciate those who don the uniform and serve! THANK YOU! Son of GT
I did not create this video, but it is so well done that I felt it important to share it with all who care...and all SHOULD care in my opinion. <param name="movie" value=" name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"> We should NEVER forget the sacrifices that the women, men, and famlies of the U.S. and coalition military forces endure in order to secure the freedoms that so many take for granted daily. Memorial day is not just another day off from work to grill weenies and burgers, it's about the people like MSGT Mark Coleman who made the ultimate sacrifice so we can all have the day off to relax with our friends and families. May God bless America and all of the U.S. and colition troops that are stationed throughout the world. Note: As I write this post, a flight of 6 P-51 Mustangs just did a fly over... how ironic. It was very fitting for today He hangers at our local airport a few miles away from us.
