Ezkill
If I could only like those stripes I'd be in a grabber blue with SVT package on June 6. It's a beautiful car, don't get me wrong, but I just can't really fall in love with the stripes for some reason. That silver with red is almost to good to pass up on and I'd be hard pressed to pass it up if I saw it here locally. Hurry up and wait for mine to move off the AAI lot somewhere...but I fear after 7 weeks of sitting there it's put down roots and won't arrive anytime soon. TX STIG
Sad to see Ford still going with the single-piston rear brake on the SVT "track" package.
TX STIG
I like the wheel style. Looks very similiar to mine, but the Ford version has an extra double-spoke.

ChrisSD
Sad to see Ford still going with the single-piston rear brake on the SVT "track" package. No clue why, but Ford lists them as dual piston.
TX STIG
No clue why, but Ford lists them as dual piston. Come to think of it I've seen that shown on the 2010 as well. Maybe they're counting 1 piston on each side of the car?
TX STIG
Aside from the heat extractor I'm really liking the newer look. Isn't this the same heat extractor as the '10?
Blown Away
Looks nice, however I think the stripes are too narrow IMHO. I asked Alex (vapor08gt500) when I saw his new convertible about the backwards R's on his paper plate. He said he never noticed the spelling. Guess he was too excitied about the car...lol Thanks for sharing the pics Michael. Good luck with it. Dan

BigDan
Sad to see Ford still going with the single-piston rear brake on the SVT "track" package. Well the 14 foot improvement in 70-0 over the 2010 makes me more happy then sad. Also reports of grater reduction on fade vs 2010 make me :D "The 70-to-0 braking took 151 feet, an improvement from 165" http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/car/10q2/2011_ford_mustang_shelby_gt500-road_test

And whoever is reporting a greater reduction in fade is smoking crack - they're the SAME brakes. However, I think the dust plate allows for extra air, but I'd be surprised if it's something a human would notice.
