SVOC
Here's my junk, bone stock 1985 5.0 5spd LX with 114k miles on the clock that I had transported back from Arizona.
SVOC
Dusted off my piece-o-crap this weekend, guess I'll start driving it, I've had it for about a year now and have only driven it a hand full of times if that, it probably needs a few miles put on it. richstang
Ok, here's my daily driver at 220k + miles. I'm still not ready to giver her up. I was supposed to trade her in when I bought my 98 SVT conv, but she still just keeps going and it's over 12 years later. Head gasket blew at 175k and I just put in some sealant treatment and it stopped leaking. 45k later and she runs great. Best Car I ever had! I've replaced the alternator twice, and the waterpump and the starter once, but it was so easy and inexpensive I could never complain.
richstang
It looks like a very nice 85 LX to me, definately not a piece of crap. I like the added pony rims. when the 10 holes came out it was a big improvement over those trxs but the pony make the car look years newer. Nice! You rarely see an 85 without the rear spoiler, I thought all 85s with the 5.0 had them. I know all 86s had them because of the brake light added that year. Anyway enjoy and by the way, nice garage! GT's and SVO's came with with rear wings, the LX's did not, you could beg your deal to order, paint and install one for you, but is was not on the car from the factory, this is also why Saleen preferred you to order the LX for his conversion, as there was an up charge to De-GT the car for his set-up. Correct in 1986 the Fed's mandated the CHML which caused all hatch backs, GT and LX to get the rear wing standard.
tdreed1265
Here's my 1985. I've never paid too much attention to the production numbers. Interesting to see that only 5,500 GT Convertibles in 1985, thought there would have been a lot more.
SVOC
Junior's 1979 Mustang Ghia restoration project that I have been working which includes an up-grade of a 2.3 Turbo, built A4LD, Eibach Pro Springs,87'-93' brakes, 8.8 w/3.73 gears: We still have a ways to go, but slowly and surely we'll get there! Kinda cool for your parents to give you a 31 year old Mustang as your first car. Jeff

vapor08GT500
Nice Chris, it is very hard to find an all original 82 GT these days...Remember, Ford's advertising....The Boss is Back!!! Here are a few Fox bodies I have for sale: 91 5.0 LX bone stock convertible, owned by an 84 year old customer of mine since new. Car is like a step back in time. One of 18 built with these color combos and options. Will sell for $11K. PM me if interested anyone. This car runs, and drives like a new one, anything not perfect has been rebuilt. Everything works. Car needs nothing. Just sold this notchback to Glen and Lisa from Canada ( glroy) for $12K...again was like a step back in time!! It is amazing how these cars have come back so strong for all original ones!! 93 Cobra that I am selling for a friend of mine whose family are the only owners. I have done all maintenance on the car since 1996. Link to ebay ad with over 50 pictures: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280711463655&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT Also part of my stable Fox body wise is a Saleen SSC (was Steve Saleen's personal car) a 93 Saleen Notchback, a 93 Cobra I bought new that is 720 RWHP, a 92 Limited Convertible that I bought new that is 646 RWHP, a 90 LX Convertible that will be for sale soon, and a 93 GT Convertible that will be for sale soon. 07SGT4578
For sure, the wheels are ugly on both cars. There is absolutely no wheels worth a crap out there for these cars

There is absolutely no wheels worth a crap out there for these cars Yeah, I have never liked any wheel on the Fox cars that showed off the 4 lugs. My favorite of all the wheels though are the 16X7 Pony wheels on the 91-93 5.0's that at least have a cap to cover the lugs... Alex
