shelbymotorsports
For those of you that may have missed the other threads, the Shelby American Registry has officially released the COA Certificates as of May 14th. If your Shelby is registered in the Shelby American Registry, you can order a free Shelby Vehicle Authenticity Certificate. These certificates are made at Shelby in Las Vegas and are printed on special security paper and embossed with a hand stamped gold foil seal. These certificates preserve your Shelby’s history with official Shelby documentation. These certificates are available thru the Shelby Store for free as long as your Shelby is registered with us in the Shelby American Registry. Although the certificates are free, there is a small S&H charge. I've attached a direct link to the Shelby Store below. Don't forget to check out the new products being added, almost daily, to the Shelby Store. COA Certificate Link Steve

Red Diver
Steve, My 07 SGT was Super CHarged at SAI and now has the Shelby GT/SC stripe, and the factory SC tag under the hood. Will the new certificate indicate that the car is a Shelby GT or a Shelby GT/SC???? Thanks, Don

RogerS
Steve, My 07 SGT was Super CHarged at SAI and now has the Shelby GT/SC stripe, and the factory SC tag under the hood. Will the new certificate indicate that the car is a Shelby GT or a Shelby GT/SC???? Thanks, Don Don, The certificate will indicate your Shelby GT entry has been validated on a certain date. The date we review the entry. It will not state Shelby GT/SC. However, seeing you have had the installed completed in Las Vegas and have the plaque you should also have the certificate to validate that install. Please let us know if that is not the case. shelbykam
I have processed a bunch already. Please keep in mind that the certificates take 3 to 4 weeks to process as found on the item description. All orders have to go through a verification process first. philip murphy
Ok so if a car is not registered and you go to the online form and fill out all info . Which does not require any proof that you own the car !!! Then for $5.99 you can order certificate for any car thats not registered . Who is going to police certificates to vintage cars? This could be a real issue with all the fake cars (Mostly at auctions). Just sayin

What makes you think CSX2000 isn't registered? If you think we are going to publicly announce all of our verification procedures you are mistaken. RogerS
FYI folks CSX 2000 was registered in February 2,2008 by someone who was very disgruntled with very unflattering comments in the comments section. That entry has been locked and corrected. I believe they were trying to make a point. Not the right way to do it but their choice. The issue with any electronic registry is just what has happened. One of the reasons when validating parts or ownership for "actual" owners we require proof of ownership. We realize this adds an extra step in our process, but as you can see, this is what happens when you do not. Thanks for your feedback.
