YOKO ADVAN NEDVA 295/30/19

Recommended Posts

HEARING GREAT THINGS OF THIS NEW TIRE as far as grip/ traction and wear.Their specs show the closest size to the 2010 stock as 295/30/19.They used a 10.5 " rim. What do you think?? Is there any chance this might fit the stock 2010 19 " rim. I realize the sidewall might bulge slightly .

I want to know the same thing. Supposedly the min rim size for this 295 is 10". I once had a conversation with Bruce Griggs in which he said it would create no problem to go up slightly other than having some bulge. Getting a bit more tread to the pavement might be worth it.

Anyone have some good thoughts/advice on this?

Did you try the tire selector for the Advan? The sizes match perfectly 295/30/19 since you can input these values. I love the tread of the Neova!

How wide are the rear and front of the 10' GT500? I forget.

REARS ON THE 2010 ARE 9.5 ". The selector on the Yokohama site gave only 1 match at the factory size of 285/35/19.

Im also interested in this tire as well. The website says for the rim to be from 10-11, but again is 9.5 pushing it on the rear? Also, are you just going to change your rear tires to th NEDVA or all 4 at the same time? Is there any harm in having different tred on the rear tires compaired to the front? I'm been debating a while on the tire issue. Has anyone found a DR that fits on a 19in rim. I guess my choices really are to either switch all my tires and rim to get the Drags on the rear or get a super good street tire like the NEDVA. I think it will actually be cheaper sticking with new tires rather than rims and tires. I like the car to look close to stock as possible!
