Painted Coil Covers

Anyone get their POWERED BY SVT coil covers painted to match their car? If so, post some pics and how much you paid to have this done. I was thinking of having mine painted GB with the fins and letters White. Thanx

I'm probably going to paint mine in the coming weeks. Carrying Grabber Blue into the engine bay would look good with your car.

And why not make it a DYI project? The only difficulty you would have is finding the GB in a high temp spray paint at the local auto store.

I can't find GB high temp. paint and the Testors GB Model paint would not work under the hood. I am having some other under hood parts painted also.

Not sure that high temp paint would be required. The coil covers get hot, but not as hot as the valve covers... or the rest of the block. I've read that some have used regular Dupli-Color without any reported problems. Some have even exposed the aluminum and clear coated them without any issues.
