leadfoot 5.4
I was looking thru Ebay & saw another set of super snake embossed Alcoa rims for sale again, this is the 5th set of SS rims I've saw for sale in 1 years time. where are all these SS rims coming from? I dought that after paying big bucks for the SuperSnake conversion, these SS owners are swapping out those Alcoas. If you are interested in those SS rims, you got 2 days to bid. It looks like it's on display in a parts store! ............... Im just thinking out loud.

breoland
I think people are ditching them for better light weight wheels with the correct offset to fit a larger tire that will allow more HP to the pavement. Dont get me wrong, I love the alcoas. I want a set, but I can not see myself spending all that money for show and no go I almost got a set and was planning on sending it out to have them made wider to find out the tiresizes for drag radials wouldnt work. Son of GT
hmmm...the add says the fronts are stamped "Super Snake", rears are not I saw that too. This is NOT a complete set of Super Snake Alcoas. Two are, two are not. Respect for the seller posting the full disclosure, but the deal sounds a bit fishy to me. shelbypt
I also noticed the center caps are not Shelby caps. They are Alcoa!! Heck, you can buy a new set for the same price...
Robert M
I also noticed the center caps are not Shelby caps. They are Alcoa!! Heck, you can buy a new set for the same price... I am interested in information as to where I can buy Super Snake logo'ed 20" wheels, 2 or 4 for that same price. I need a spare set for my car, please provide a link. I could also use a spare set of Super Snake logo'ed center caps. I wonder where the Alcoa center caps came from? Certainly not Shelby. My thread and discussion about these wheels is in the link below................. http://www.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php?/topic/56837-more-super-snake-alcoas-slip-out-into-the-public/ R
