Robert M
my Supercharger belt is fraying and needs to be replaced.... does any one know the specs or part number by chance? Ron If I remember correctly, it is a Dayco belt on the 725. I will have to rotate my engine to see the part number. R

BoneDoc
Kenne Bell part # 21-0403 $86 Dayco part # 21-0403 Thx Woody. anyone have an idea why it would start to fray after only 2000 miles?
woody81
Im going to guess that it is fraying from too much slipping. I hear my belt slip a lot more since I put the 3" pulley on. I have 800 miles on my belt and it still looks good. The belt may not be sitting on all the pulleys correctly. The serpentine belt on my truck came apart because it was a groove off on one of the pulleys.
Robert M
Thx Woody. anyone have an idea why it would start to fray after only 2000 miles? Ron - This is only a guess, but if the belt is fraying on one edge, I would think that there may be a pulley alignment issue. R

R Thx Robert. The fraying is only on the edge closest to the SC.... effects only 1 or 2 rib lanes. is the pulley position adjustable?
bchorney
Thx Woody. anyone have an idea why it would start to fray after only 2000 miles? Could be just a bad belt. I had my stock GT500 belt do the exact same thing. Brett
