hellmaster
I searched a little but didn't come across much. Has anyone added fog lights to their SGT? I assume the wiring is in the harness and the plugs are in the front somewhere. Did fog lights come as an option on these? If so where were they, in the grill or the lower outside grills? Any info is helpful and appreciated. thanks, John
motorjock205
All of the wiring is still tucked behind the radiator support on the SGT's....I'm not sure if they were shipped to SAI with the fog lights in the grills and they removed them there or if they were deleted at the factory...Most who have SGT's have added the CS8 grille with the small PIAA fog lights on the sides or added the SAI lower fog light and brake duct setup...Either setup looks nice....I still haven't decided which way I want to go yet...funding is the main hold back right now... Some have also added the Eleanor grille and have the fog lights in the center of the front grille now too...again, a nice option for some... Take a look under the hood, I'm sure you'll find the original fog light wiring on either side of the radiator...I believe SAI pulled the original fuse and may have placed it in an unused slot in the BEC under the hood... Good Luck with whatever you decide to go with. Carl

Are there any lower side grills for just fog lights? When yo say CS8 grill I assume you mean a grill from a California Special with fog lights? hellmaster
This is the grille he is refering to. i have seen that grill before, thanks. Looks good on a white SGT. Mine is black. I like my grille the way it is that's why i would like to have them in the lower grills. If there was a kit available that would be cool. That way I could get all the parts needed at once without having to piece it together.
fking1
Wiring is all there. I bought a pair of driving lights at NAPA and fitted them in the lower grille. They work off the headlight switch by pulling it out.

JeffIsHereToo
Or like this? No break ducts needed...though I don't see this on the store anymore.
wnenn
Use the search function. It has been done. I used 2006 Freestyle driving lights installed along side the lower grille on my Convertible and behind the grille on my SGT-C. See the pictures. I had to use a repair harness to connect these light assemblies to the wiring of th ecar....cut off the ones that were there and solder on and shrink wrap the new ones. I used some stainless steel bolts and nylon stand off sfrom Lowe's to mount the light assemblies. I like the ones behind the grille. I wish both were like that. The intercooler for the supercharger didn't leave enough room to mount the lights like the vert. Wnenn

motorjock205
You cut the lower grills yourself? Check post #2 in this thread for the PIAA Light Bezel Install Instructions.... Fog Light Thread I'm sure if you just want the fog lights only in the lower grilles, you could use the template to cut out just that portion and keep the original grilles down there too....aparently there isn't enough room down there for the brake ducts if you have an intercooler installed for a S/C...poor planning I guess.... Hope this helps....Looks like the PIAA Lights are the 510 Series lights and you can get the mounting brackets from Shelby Store for them to mount like the instructions call for....should hook into original wiring without too much work...
