Firekiller
Hello everyone, My wife and I are new proud owners of a 2010 GT500 in Kona Blue with white stripes. It has been my wifes life long dream to have a Shelby Mustang and as of April27th we have accomplished that dream. As of right now the Shelby is stock but who knows what the future brings. A little about us, we are both from and still in Indiana. Myself I am a firefighter and my wife is a stay at home mother of one. We are looking forward to going to as many Shelby and Mustang events as our schedule allows and hope to meet many of you there. One question we do have is in the 2010 GT500's there are no CSM# plaque as shown in all the 2009 and earlier. Could someone chime in and let me know if those are available to be purchased and does Shelby American issue plate off of VIN #. I want to suprise my wife with a Shelby jacket and have our VIN or CSM number embroidered onto jacket for her. Thanks everyone and have a blessed day. Spring Lil Cobra
welcome. PM sent re: your location. I have yet to see anything that would meet your needs. However, I am sure that something will be out in the near future. You might look into getting a part of your car signed by Carroll. he can add your VIN to the signature if you provide it for him. The details can be seen on this sight, just look for the Children's Foundation links. SLC

ingram4868
Welcome to Team Shelby. Congratulations on the new ride. There are several variations of Shelby named cars. The GT500 is not built by Shelby which is why it does not have a CSM number. The Shelby site does sell a dash plaque you can purchase if you wish. Welcome and congrats on owning such an awesome car! The 2010 Dash plaques will be available shortly at ShelbyStore.com. As ingram4868 said the GT500's had no plaques from the factory unless they were up fitted by Shelby American such as KR's and Super Snakes. Enjoy the ride! MY500SS
Welcome Firekiller and congrats. Your wife has great taste as the GT500 is a fantastic car. When available, order the signed dash plaque. It's a must for all GT500's, IMO.
blown5.4
Congrats on the ride. I'm sort of new to this forum and the GT500. I've owned many performance cars over the last 25 years and this is by far my favorite car. Hope you and your wife feel the same.
