richard m.switzer Posted May 2, 2010 Report Share Posted May 2, 2010 Question for Robort,,does the PIAA lighting kit for the CS 6 or the CS 8 shelby grille come with all the hardware to mount the lights if a person already has the CS Shelby grill ,,,if I order just the CS grille from somewhere else that has it in stock,,and I get the lights from the Shelby Store or somewhere else ,,how do I get the mounts that go behind the grille to mount the PIAA lights to the CS grille do they come with the PIAA light kit or what,,,does the mounts come with the CS grille face,,the one that is for sell at $ 159.00,,,thanks for any reply,respectfully Richard. To get an extra lense, you have to go through PIAA. just so they know,,,I call PIAA today got a price on the replacement lens PIAA part number # 35112,,,cost with shipping is $ 58.91,,'WOW ",,just for the lens,,glass only,no lamp housing,,,now if you X2 that is $ 117.82 for only two glass lens,,I am thinking I would be better off getting a whole kits ,PIAA part number # 5192,,AND IF YOU NEED IT,,,the replacement bulb part number is # 15256.,,,the PIAA pretty blue one.,,,,,,,and BTW,,, I only paid $ 189.00 for the whole upper light kit that go's with the CS 6 grille PIAA part number # 1094,,off ebay new. free shipping. Are you installing the grille and lights yourself? yes ,,but I am going to save my stock GT/CS grille ,,,looking to get another stock GT mustang grille off ebay or somewhere else,,if work stays on the up side ,,I just might get a new one,,and yes I know ,,alot of cutting ,,,if Robert is reading this one day,,hey Robert ,,,what is the backing plate / housing Shelby is using for the Terlingua grille ,,is it the Shelby GT replacement backing plate grille housing that the Shelby Store sells for $ 100.00,,,,,,will the CS 6 / CS 8 grill work on that backing plate ,,,please let us all know,,thanks,,respectfully Richard . Thanks again your a big help,,I did not get any aluminum brackets at all with the grille ( no hardware ) I see now that the letter bar go's behind the grille ,not in front,," got it " ,thanks,,letters are in the mail ,,,,,haven't gotten them yet either,,most greatful for all the pictures,and help,,,hope I can get everything to do this or it was a big wast of money and time.
