Naa-V-Doc
Need some guidance. How diff. is it to connect Lucas Fog light on our Shelby Gt's - if it can be done! Thanks in advance, Doc
motorjock205
Doc, You're a little vague in your description of the Lucas Fog Lights....there are MANY types and sizes of the Lucas Fog Lights....Rectangle ones were used on the early GT500's back in the day and different size round ones have been used on all types of foreign and domestic cars....give us an idea of what lights you are looking at with a picture or something...you'll get more/better responses then. Good Luck, Carl
Naa-V-Doc
They are 8" rectangle Was on the 68 Shelby's as well as other imports. The glass is defused not like the Clear. Hope this helps. Chrome backs. Mint condition. Hold down bracks and Black Lucas Covers. Help? Doc
motorjock205
I'm sure you could make them work...the fog light wires are tucked away near each side of the radiator on the SGT, and the fuse may be in the fuse block, but not plugged into the proper location under the hood, and the lights are operated by the Headlight switch by pulling it out...biggest problem would be the mounting of the lights...the old 68 Shelby grills were much deeper than what we have on our SGT's...perhaps mount them upside down under the bumper in the lower grill area? Where there is a will, there is a way...keep us posted on your results if you decide to head down this path...
