Motorcraft oil price in your area

Recommended Posts

So, without another oil besides Motorcraft being blessed by Ford...I called one of the local dealerships in the Houston area to check on the price and availability of the 5w-50 fully synthetic and a filter...

wait for it......

$8.91/quart and $7.84 for the filter. I kinda thought that was strong!!

What do you pay for oil in your area?- From Ford that is...

thanks....

Sounds about right. I just had my oil changed a little over a week ago at Ford and it was $78.

You can purchase Motorcraft FL-820S oil filters at Walmart for less than $5.

I buy Motocraft oil mail order from K-man Parts.

Last I checked, which was a few years ago, my local Ford dealer sold the 5W50 oil for $10 to $11/quart.

I have over 23,000 miles now but just changed my job from 90 miles a day to 18.

Wow...that's great news about your job being so much closer. I'm lucky in that respect too. Only about 6 miles round trip for me! It would really bother me having to put 90 miles a day on the car to get to work...not to mention the gas consumption aspect too.

I'll be ordering from K-mans soon too.
