andrewnagle1964
My new Shelby is coming with the Shaker 1000 and I am wondering who changed their Shaker 1000 to the Shelby Kicker upgrade and did you think it was worth the money ? Obviously 2 options leave the Shaker 1000 alone and sell the Kicker upgrade or keep what is behind door number 2 and install the Kicker Thanks Andrew Or I could just wait until I get the car next week and decide for myself ?!?!?!? Ya think............

dh777
definitely worth it! Unless you just like listening to am radio. We have them in both of our cars!
speedyburd33
When it's time for my SC upgrade, the Kicker is def. going in. I am not a fan of the Shaker at all. The factory stereo in my '08 F150 crew cab blows the Shaker away.
COBRA SCOTTY
I AM PRETTY HAPPY WITH MY SHAKER 1000'S IN MY 2 CARS , BUT THEN AGAIN I REALLY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE TUNES ; IT'S ALL ABOUT THE HORSE POWER SOUND. THAT BEING SAID , THE SHAKER 1000 HAS GOOD ENOUGH QUALITY FOR ME WHEN I DO LISTEN TO IT AND WOULD RATHER SAVE THE MONEY FOR H.P. MODDS OR WHEELS. andrewnagle1964
Do the Upgrade. Thanks for all the input, "sounds" like I will be keeping the Kicker and putting it in the new Shelby once I get her home next week. Which means there will be some Shaker 1000 speakers and sub for sale in the very near future. Take Care Andrew

I'm definitely upgrading the interior speakers. Just want to know if it's worth going to the single Kicker sub from the dual Shaker 1000 subs. And the closest one is over 100 yards away.
i8acobra
Weight doesn't really bother me. Comes out when it's time to hit the road course anyways.

And the closest one is over 100 yards away. After 6 1/2 hours with the Shaker 1000 I am sold........The Kicker Upgrade is coming out of the wreck and going into the "new" Shelby ASAP !!! So I wonder how much one can get for a Shaker 1000 sub woofer and the 6 factory speakers, I am betting not too much . Thanks to all for their opinions and all it took was to hear them both. The Kicker Shelby upgrade beats the the Shaker 1000 hands down ! Take Care Andrew
