Mustang DAN
I'm thinking of installing some Koni Sport (Yellows) dampers/shocks on my '08 SGT, leaving the rest of the suspension with FRPP components as it came from Shelby. I've been told this will improve ride quality and give a more sophisticated feel to the handling. Anyone have any experience with this combination on a Shelby GT? Thanks for any input. Loved mined mine but thinking of getting the Griggs set-up on my new SGT like Ken ! On the firmest setting it is stiff but handles like a charm, I usually had them set half way. speedyburd33
That looks pretty good. I have heard nothing but stuff about both set-ups.

How did ride quality and handling compare with the original FRPP setup? Looks like you have different springs also?

Looks like you have different springs also? I did change the springs as well to I Vogtland springs Sam Strano recommended them a couple of years ago. To be honest I changed them out soooooo fast I could not tell you the difference but by Monday I should be able to as I am picking up my new Shelby in Ohio and will have a 10 hour drive on the original FRPP set up. RACERX009
Vogtland springs are great had them on my M3 made a night and day difference. You can order by spring rate which gives you the ride quality and performance.
