Shelby GT billet engine caps question

OK, so I see the caps showcar just sold, and they look like all the lettering is blue and red, but some of the pics that are on sites that sell them, the lettering looks all black.... I would prefer the black lettering, does anybody know what is currently shipping? or if the pics are just wrong?

Note that I paid $199.99 from Champion Mustang vs $274.94 which was available elsewhere. Those same caps are listed out of stock from the Shelby store. Also note I'm speaking about the 4.6 caps.

 

Now, in checking Champion Mustang it appears they've gone to a new look with the red cobra. Still $199.99 - 5S3Z-GT-CAPS

I thing they have a mistake on the images or part number. The GT caps show a part number of 7S3Z-GT. The 5S3Z-GT caps are the original Shelby Red Cobra caps that Shelby put out before the GT caps were available. I bought the Red Cobra caps from Shelby when they were first offered and I am very happy with them.

so just "shelby" is blue? is the lettering engraged? do you think it's deep enough to make painting the letters fairly easy?

Correct...just the SHELBY is blue, but note the color is very subtle.

The letters are recessed / engraved but small. I'm no painting expert, but I would think it's not hard to apply paint.
