MongoCobra
Hi Anyone know how we can get the rear view mirror to be dim all the time? I would think that there were a couple of wires that could be connected to trick it so that the mirror was dimmed Thanks

MongoCobra
Cover the light sensor with tape. Phill Wouldn't that have the opposite effect? I think the sensors are looking for the highbeams coming from behind?
check6
Wouldn't that have the opposite effect? I think the sensors are looking for the highbeams coming from behind? As I understand the way these work, I think you're right...not sure how to do what you want it to do...why would you want to do this?

The mirror dims at night. You know, when headlights will appear in your rear-view? Put your car in the garage and watch what happens to your rear-view mirror. It dims. If I put the sunscreen up in my truck the mirror dims because the light sensor is on the front of the mirror. Phill
