Front License Plate Mount on 2010 Shelby?

I went with a hide away plate - keep it hidden under the splitter when you want the clean look and pull it up to have a legal plate on the front of your car. Mine is manual but there is an option for a motorized remote control set up as well.

Anyone have this braket and like it? It only has 1 screw holding the center colum in place? How does that not turn from left to right?

The pictures in that link are of my car. He used mine to mock up the bracket. It is solid and does not turn or move. I would HIGHLY recommend this bracket and I am VERY happy with the quality, fit, and finish.

Just installed this bracket (trailer rebuilders) on my 2010 this weekend and it is a quality piece. Looks as good as it could for a front plate.

What did you have to do to install this bracket? How does it connect to the front? DO you have pic's to post? Did you pay $70???

Thanks

Hey tpenziner, This topic has been beat to death here. I feel for you because I am from Texas and it is the law here also. I have had many exotics that I HAD to put front plates on. I don't need the hassles of every bored cop on the road! If you search this site you will come across many threads on this topic with pics. I put one up last year of my car with the

http://www.trailerre...rs.com/services holder on it. I have a 2010 and it took my local Ford dealership all of ten minutes to put it on. Like SNKBT1 put it, if you have to have a front plate this is as good as it gets in my opinion. There are two bolts that hold the spoiler on that you remove and put the bracket on and replace the bolts. Yes I payed $70 for it as stated on there page. It fits the 2010 no problem. It does not come into contact with the front bumper in any way, even at top speed. It is worth every penny. I have a 2011 coming and I will have it put on that car when it comes in. I think FORD should pay for it, since they do not offer a plate holder of any kind for the Shelby but, hey you gotta do what you gotta do! Sorry I can't post my pic but I am not on my main computer. denohew

Thanks for the info., I'll go w/ this one and I like the mounting location rather than in the middle of the bumper. Cleaner look down below...

Did you install this bracket on your 2010 Shelby? http://www.trailerrebuilders.com/services

I emailed Ken and he said he sent a bracket to a customer for him to try, however, right now he is not certain enough to endorse purchasing them for the Shelby..

No wI'm confused, does with bracket work on a 2010 Shelby? Does anyone have a 2010 Shelby with the bracket? Can you post a picture? Thanks!
