Not that I'm shopping but poking around with the URL (changed the 2010 to 2011) and it revealed all the new Stang info.

http://bp2.forddirect.fordvehicles.com/2011-Ford-Mustang#page=/Style/

Have fun,

Hmm. It shows side-scoops and quarter window louvers as options now. But it also shows a pedestal spoiler and lighted door sill plates as options too.

I think they might have the Mustang GT options included in the GT500 catagory.

I also see (or don't see) that the SVT Performance Package isn't listed yet either and that only White or Silver stripes are available on the Kona Blue car (when first shown, the Kona blue had red stripes?).

Still fun!

SVT is available but not with stripes oddly enough (they probably don't have the thin stripe pictures yet).

The Illuminated door sill option is also probably not available on the Shelby.

Just checked it out for myself to see what I like. It's pretty cool. We would have to :spend: a bit more to have one, but it's worth it because it's a SHELBY! :happy feet:

I checked out the interior packages for the 500. It doesn't show those heated seats that every one is talking about that was on the 2011 GT500 at the Detroit or Chicago show. :headscratch: Could it be possible to have them retrofitted? :headscratch:

Probably.

If you build one with the performance package and select a seat strip you can go back to the exterior page and see the car with the new strips.

The build and price section for the GT500 is the 2010 model.

Follow the link in post #1 or change the 2010-Mustang to 2011-Mustang in the URL. It brings up the 2011 MY GT500.

I also see it's changed quite a bit from yesterday and now includes the SVT Perf. Pack and options.

The way it looks, if you order the SVT PP you only get a choice of 3 base colors and ONLY with Red stripes (can't remember if you can get a SVT PP stripe delete).

It's fun to play with and see what I won't be buying!

Yeah but the stripes are the regular stripes. The SVT stripes are thin and have "accent" colors on the edge of them(They are 2 color stripes).

Selecting the SVT package removes the option to add the racing stripes still.

I played with it yesterday and today. The SVT PP red stipes color sucks on the website. Finally got a look at the Gray with the red it doesnt look that bad, but I still have black with red on order.

I shot a email to my dealer to get with his rep about the scoops and the sills. I am sure that the sills are part of the electronic package but I just asked any way. The other thing about the sills and the electronic pack is that you can change the colors of the illumination, has something like 200 colors.

My big question is as of last week my order had a priority code of 01 and we were hoping to get pulled this week or the next time that ford pulls orders. After your order is pulled by Ford to be built can you make small changes to your order like adding the scoops? They were not a option when I place my order and I wanted them. They are a lot cheaper as a factory option then doing it after.

I got it to show the thin-thin SVT PP stripes. Like he said, go into the interior section and click on the red seat stripe, then go back to the exterior and it will show the car with the SVT stripes on it. It will also have a icon on the colors you can NOT get the SVT package in.

white/satin black with the glass roof looks amazing but so does the sticker price

Hmm. That brings up a question and I didn't check on it when I was playing on the Ford site....if you get a glass roof, do the stripes still run over the roof???

I would certaintly hope not.

I still don't see how scoops are an option. The Order guide doesn't have them as an option.

Has anyone successfully ordered a GT500 with the side scoops?

** I also see a pedestal spoiler option now? I don't think everything on that site is working right. Isn't the SVT Shelby supposed to have a special "gurney flap"? Also the door sills are still showing up as an option.

I did see the stripes and wow Black with Red stripes and silver accents looks amazing.
