chuckstang
I started noticing this the past nearly year or so, with my factory clutch and now Spec. Seems to occur when things get hot, you hear a chirping/birdy sound from the tranny at slow speeds either over bumps or when releasing the clutch. Curious what it is, I have seen some other members post about it but never heard anything on it. I know old throw out bearing made some noises when they were going bad. My clutch slave is new along with clutch/flywheel. thx

08 ORANGE SS-725HP
throw out bearing? I know alot of 03-04 cobras made the chirp sound and it was the throw out bearing. The Shelbys have a hydraulic clutch release system that utilize a concentric slave cylinder under brake fluid pressure operation vs. the mechanical clutch release system of the 03-04 cobras that utilize a clutch cable attached to a clutch fork that moves a throw out bearing to press against the fingers of the pressure plate. All for your info
