ghodge
I just started noticing a slight "chirping" sound coming from the front of my car? It is not a squeal like the Metco idler problem on another topic post. It stops when I am under 5 miles an hour (or under 1500 rpm). I can't figure it out? It is not there at an idle. Any suggestions?
ZXMustang
if it does this at idle, pop the hood and drip some water from a rag or sponge on the belt when its running. If the chirp goes away for a few seconds then comes back, its your belt. And if it is, you can try one of the polycog belts from gatorback. Those are super silent and should not chirp ever. The problem is the sound goes away at idle, so I can't listen for it when the car is sitting.

silver08elly
Do they make a gatorback for those of us with a 2.6 and the IW 10%?
