Here is some more language that came out of the initial press releases: "Improved cooling pack sealing and a new front underbody closeout panel are said to increase front downforce by 25 percent. The Shelby GT500 also continues the brake cooling duct that can be opened for additional brake cooling. A recontour of the brake's dust shields also resulted in better brake cooling." Maybe the 'cooling pack sealing; and 'underbody closeout panel' = 'under-belly aerodynamic shield' . 25% increase in front downforce. Say what? The next sentence gets me: "brake cooling duct that can be opened for additional brake cooling". Say what #2? First guy that get's his (or hers) owes us pictures of that stuff plus the new exhaust. More and more reasons to get the SVT Package it seems. Starting to really feel like that extra 3K was worth it. Now if these tires only wear evenly since rotating the tires in the SVT package is not possible I'll be a happy camper.

2010KonaBlueGT
The base Goodyear F1s are directional as well? No. You can switch them from side-to-side but you can not "rotate" them in the traditional sense. And you *can* switch directional tires from side-to-side. You just have to demount them and remount them from one side to the other. Phill

Phill everything said here is true and correct, but and there is always a but, these new goodyears are assymetric as well, meening thay are side specific as well. no rotation for these bad boys. trust me these are going to be nightmare. Does the stock non SVT GT500s have different size tires in the front than in the rear as well? I thought they were all 19 inch same tires all around? I thought they were all 19 inch same tires all around? Yes the rims are 19 inch both front and rear but the tire profiles are different Front: P255/40R19 Rear: P285/35R19 So it wouldn't make sense to rotate the tires from front to rear unless you like the Import look at the drag strip with the fat tires in front I wish Ford has put at least a 305 rear stock and if I'm dreaming 315 would be perfect
