moabman
It has an electrical connection and 2, 1/2"pipes going into it. Fuel pump outside the fuel tank? I think the place where the fuel pump normally is would be under the top down storage area. Edit: I've added a picture to help. The object is on the far right hand side and is about 1/3 of the way up from the bottom. The two, 1/2" inch pipes are black and silver. You cant see the electrical connection in this picture but it has one.
RUFDRAFT
Hi Mark - I haven't got a clue! I read about the lousy weather out your way. Everything okay?
moabman
Ruf - We had a little ice in the trees but none on the street. We are getting lots of rain now. I live north of the San Jacinto and it's up pretty high. Drought last summer, now ice and flooding - No place but Texas! We're fine, staying high and dry. I'll put a coat of Megaires (don't hate me!) on in the garage if it keeps raining. If we get a break, I'll take some real pictures. SCGT500 Yep - the object is right under the spare. It could be a evaporative canister with a sensor and/or a circulating fan. There is a cage around it so I couldn't make it out. I hope it wasn't the fuel pump. BTW how is the fuel transfered between the 2 saddle tanks.
