Evil95GT
By request, this is the thread to list your positive dealership experiences. Is there a dealership that has treated you well, and with respect in regards to your GT500 transaction? Is there a salesman out there who has really helped you through the waiting game? We wanna hear about it! In sticking with the tradition of the other thread, here's what is needed: * Name of Dealership * Person with whom you've had contact * How has this dealership made your experience more positive and pain-free With regards to price gouging, or withdran agreements, there are other threads to reflect upon those experiences. We'll use this one as the "good" list.
bullittmansparts
Van Bortel Ford Victor , New York Saleperson- Paul Throughout this process this dealer has been upfront and honest about the GT500 experience. I have no reason to expect that to change, right thru to delivery. It's unfortunate that they can not increase their share of vehicles...or any other high quality dealer, by attention to detail and putting customers first. THANKS Paul! BoneDoc
champion ford boulder, colorado so far have been very up-front, no deception. they will be charging 10K over MSRP... but for the denver/boulder area, I think that is probably the market value (at least initially). I put the order in couple of days ago.

D.Boone
Well, I heard back from Bud. They have not decided on the ADM they will charge, but expect it to be between $5000 - $10000. Also, they are acting on predicted allocation, since we know official allocation has not yet been released. Apparently one of the owners deciding critetia is the ebay auction drama! I told him I was not interested at that ADM and told him to keep me in mind, at the markup I was willing to pay. Since Bud was apparently very honest in his dealings with me, but may be representing a dealer who is going for the gouge, should Fisher Vincent Ford be considered a "good" dealer? Or a "bad" dealer? LSR
 Riverview Ford in Columbia, IL (618) 281-5106 Owner: Darrel Owens He fills that when a person comes to his dealership, they deserve the car they are wanting to buy. And feels that markups resemble greed and poor customer satisfaction. I ordered my GT500 Shelby from Mr. Owens at MSRP, and he also sold his other GT500 at MSRP as well. No matter what car or truck you buy from him, he will try to give you a deal you can't refuse. I recommend this dealer to anyone, even if you live out of state.
