Richard Nash 26306
I am looking to purchase replacement windshield washer nozzles (squirter heads mounted to the hood). I took my 2007 GT-H to the shop to have the hood repainted. When they were removing the windshield washer nozzles, the guys in the shop damaged them. We ordered Ford replacements, but it appears that the Shelby deep draw hood uses a different nozzle (not common with the Mustang or non GT-H Shelby GT) that the Ford dealer is not able to identify. If someone can identify the nozzle used on the GT-H or a supplier for these nozzles, I would appreciate it. Thanks! Rick
tispco
The nozzles are available from the Shelby Store/Shelby Performance Parts. They are not listed on the website, but they do have them. You need to call them.
NordicShelby
The hertz hood is not the deep draw hood, the deep draw hood is functional and is on the SR and the Terlingua and some of us lucky SGT owners have the deep draw hood. Does the Hertz hood have the same nozzles as the deep draw hood? I'm getting my deep draw painted today and it will be installed tomorrow I have to drop the car off in an hour so I will check to see if nozzles came with the hood or if they will have to take them off my orginal hood. tispco
On the deep draw hood, I would move the nozzles to the wiper blades and not drill the hood for nozzles. It will look much cleaner. Classic Design Concepts sells a kit to do this on S197 Mustangs. When I purchased a Hertz hood from Shelby Performance Parts in the Fall, it came with nozzles. Not sure if they do the same with the deep draw hood.
Richard Nash 26306
I appreciate the education regarding the difference between the GT-H and the deep draw hood; Thank you. I called Shelby Performance Parts as suggested. Regretfully, I was told that they do not sell the windshield wiper nozzles and no one there knows where I can purchase a set. No further assistance was offered. If you have any other thoughts on who to contact, I would appreciate it. Thank you. Rick

tispco
That is disappointing. It seems a lot of parts were discontinued or are not yet available since the Shelby Store and SPP merged. I purchased my nozzles from SPP prior to the merger. They came as a complete kit with nozzles, retainers, and tubing. You might want to try contacting Robert Lane @ the Shelby Store directly. SGT-C0056
Isn't the GT-H hood the same as the Deep Draw (Look and design) other than the fact that it's not functional and the vents are cut out on the Deep draw. just asking, since a friend has a Terilingua
Son of GT
Other than some slight variations in the hood duct area, the deep draw hood was modeled off the GTH/CS8 hood.
ShelbyGTH-NL
Hello, So i have the same problem! My hood has been repainted and re-stripped but the nozzles broke off in the processes. Can I order the relocation kit for the GT500 super snake too solve this and does it contain something too fill the holes off old nozzles or do i need to get creative? Thx for your help! 07SGT4957
When I had my Deep Draw Hood done for my car the shop that installed/painted my hood used my OE parts as my nozzels. So if you purchase factory replacement nozzels they should work. Hope this helps.
