65427cobra
Has anybody seen the 2011 red called race red? I want to order that color but on all pictures and videos I have seen that color appears to be almost a flat red but I am pretty sure it is not. It is probably just the lighting but it appears to be a dull color. I saw on another forum that race red did not have the orange tint that torch red had but wanted to confirm and do not want to wait until the MY2011 hit the street to order my car. Can anyone help? OCD
Race Red is so fast that it is hard to get a good picture or vid of it...
GOTVENOMGT500
I'm curious what race red looks like also as I would think it's the same color they'll use on the 2011 stripes as well. My hope is it's more of a red red then an orange red

AS i said in an earlier post, the race red is a red-red,a very deep color--not quite Ferrari red,but close. My color Torch Red has a little lighter/brighter tint to it, which if you have a really good eye, and torched is next to red-red, youl see a little orange tint.In early morning and late light, it looks phosphorescent.Im attaching a fil of a red-red 69 and my car

65427cobra
Thanks guys for the feedback and Bob your picture of the 2010 and the 69 really highlight the two colors and the differences. Decisions....I really like the darker red but I like the shine on the torch red.....

OCD
fastest color is violet @ 450 nm wavelength interval...red is much slower @ 700 nm... Well if you want to get all technical, violet is not a factory or even fittting color for A Shelby, so RED still wins!! :happy feet:
