cant wait to hear the sound--BTW, Corsa told me these were longer than the 2009,about 1 in.Do you think theyll go past the valance??

when i talked to corsa that is what he was telling me. but i didnt believe it, especially since the box shows 2005-2010. he told me there was enough adjustment to get them where you want.

I just installed a set of Sports yesterday on my 2010, I could only get the tips to extend about 1/2" past the edge of the valence, looks better that way than sticking way out, remains to be seen whether or not they are far enough to keep the valence from melting.

I already had a o/r x pipe on the factory axlebacks, and the Corsa's sound very similar, very similar.

ok they are installed. not at all as loud as i was expecting. people, including corsa, kept telling me how loud they were. crazy how the sound is mostly behind the car. i will get some clips and pics tomorrow or friday

i need to let someone drive it so i can hear what it sounds like.

i am planning on driving it to the office tomorrow (100 miles) so i will be able to get a good feel for whether or not there is any drone, but from what i can tell so far there doesnt seem to be much interior noise at all.

may look at getting a higher flowing catted-x. dont want to go catless i hate the smell it leaves in the garage.

they engineered the 2010 to keep the cabin noise down--so the sound is thrown behind the car,and the cabin has sound deadening. So the only way to hear them is from outside.--how does it sound at idle if you stand behind the car,?

What type of camera did you use to take your video?

They sound pretty good. I'd love to hear a clip from inside as you drive it and outside driving by.

I still need to take good pictures of my Pypes Pype Bomb Exhaust and some video. I'm trying to figure out what camera to buy.

i used a Sony HDR-SR12

I plan on getting some drive by sound clips and possibly some clips inside. need to get a buddy to come over and help out. i would like to hear it driving by with me standing outside. there is hardly any sound in the interior at all and completely quiet while cruising

Very nice camera! I can hear my exhaust inside the car most of the time. The only time it's quite is when I let off the gas and coast. I do get some drone in the RPM range.

Had a set on my 2008 GT and they sounded good but when I installed them on my 2010 Shelby they sounded like crap. Had to sell them. To get the sound that I wanted I went to the Roush muffler delete and couldn't be happier with them. I thought the stock ones sounded louder than the Corsa.

I think the stock sounded just as good too... at IDLE the Corsa sounded good though...

I had Magnaflow's and the drone was terrible around 2000 rpm's. I went with the Corsa "sport" model and I'm really happy with the sound when you get into it. As far as just cruising it definately could use a little more. I'm wondering how the sound of the Exteme version differs compared to the sport.

I spoke with Pypes today and they are sending me another set of Pype Bombs with a different style resonator. They said it should help with the drone. I just got a HD camera today so I'm going to take some videos.

i also agree with you guys , who buys a supercharged car and does not want to here the wild sound of a supercharger,i also installed magnaflow axle back, and the car is to quiet, less noise then the stock, just installed ford racing ceramic coated shorty headers the car sounds just a touch better, ( not much) i am going to reinstall my stock pipes sat, hope the sound gets a little more agressive, i am coming out of a 04 termi had borla on that car , with the supercharger whine and the borla the car had a great sound until i put on high flow cats then it was to loud, so to make a long story short you have to try diffrent combos to get the right sound and that could start to be not cost effective

In case you guys are getting any crazy ideas of going O/R X-pipe with a Corsa. Definately not for everyone, the good thing about with the 2010 is inside the car with the windows up, it is actually livable for daily driving. Stomp your foot to the floor and its eadrum explosion time though, lol

man that sound great--what makes them louder than the extremes--i thought the sports was one noise level down from Extreme

My car has no cats, the OP still has his, I would imagine the extemes would be louder than my car without the cats.

I am thinking about (for obvious reasons, lol) getting some high flow mini-cats and installing them in my X pipe to quiet it down just a touch.
