Stock boost guage questions...?

So when I decide to crank up the boost past 15psi, does the guage keep going like the terminators used to? I figure i will be running around 17-18psi when Im done with my car, and is the stock boost guage going to be able to handle all that extra work..LOL. Seriously though, I dont want to clutter the inside of my car with aftermarket guages and Im hoping the stock guage will still function and not break past the indicated 15 psi.
