magrag
As the owner of a 08 GT500 I am always looking over the competition. The small town (pop about 20,000) where I live in north central Ohio my local Chevy dealer has 10 new Camaros, 6 SS's Thought that was a lot until I visited a Dodge dealer about 30 miles away-- 26 new Challengers only 2 V6 auto all the rest big motors and 6 speeds. Needless to say no sales persons came out to talk. Just wondered if any of you guys are seeing this large inventor any where else. Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place. V-8 Vixen
Wait just a sec., they're loaded with inventory and no sales people came out to talk to you?!? Nobody at all?? Unbelievable!
Carnut12
I actually almost bought a Challenger for my Daily Driver, then I remembered I live in New England. Anyway I was close to doing it and putting snows on for the winter. The Dealer I went to had 3 Blue Challenger R/T's, all 3 were gone with-in a month, pretty quick for the winter. FiaCobra
I can't agree with the OP. Here in the N/E., the Camaros and Challengers are selling. Dealers are not negotiating very much, that's for sure.
Snake Handler
Funny, I noticed the same thing yesterday here in southwest Ohio. Lots of Challengers on the Dealer's lots. The weather and Ohio's 10 percent unemployment may be major contributors.
Seahorse
No Chally's, but quite a few Camaro's...and Shelby's..at local dealers.

NOT moving. bj

I have a guy that I work with that has a challenger SRT8 with the blizzaks on it and we went to lunch in it the other day with the snow was on the ground and still falling. I though his car was AWD for a second. It took of the line in atleast 4 inches of snow like it was 4x4. Stopping was great too. I dont go ANYWHERE in the shelby with the stock goodyears on in the snow, and his would run circles around a few SUVs in the snow with those tires. Im sold on the blizzaks. And he got them in 20" also to fit on the stock wheels and they look awesome.

Having another Coupe with 3 kids did not seem smart, but maybe next time.
rpmcobra
I counted 15 camaro's on a lot in central PA last week. When the mustang new body style came out in 2005 you could not get a GT. The GT's were first come and take what you could get for months.

Colleton
The local Dodge dealership has several Challengers on the lot and more inbound. I think they're selling fairly well. Supposed to get an R/T in Plum Crazy next week, I bet that one won't last more than a day or two. The Dodge dealer also has a red/white stripe 2008 GT500 on the lot. 5K miles, bone stock. Sunday driver car traded in on a truck. They are asking 37,900 for it. I'm seeing more and more Camaros on the road around here as well.
magrag
I guess that I should have included in my original post that in August 21 of 2006 I ordered a new Mustang GT and on Dec 29 2006 I got my deposit back from that dealer because they still didn't know when it would arrive. I bought a 2006 Roush from another dealer the same day. If I would have wanted a new Camaro or Challenger this year I would have my choice of many to chose from and I bet they would deal. Is it all the economy or the car????
bonefish
Personally I love the GT500..but, I would like to on a Challenger too. As far as the Camaro..you can throw that junk in the trash. Never buy GM...especially a chevy!
FiaCobra
Is it all the economy or the car???? The economy for sure. It's great to have buying power now. I purchased 2 cars and a piece of property this past year.
