mustangshelbygt500
They are very similar. They both have 2 doors, 4 seats, front mounted engines, v8 supercharged and they both cost around $65k

BanditSRT8
Sorry, as much as I love my Shelby, there's absolutely no way I would choose a GT350 over the CTS-V or the CTS-V Coupe. I do believe the CTS-V will be my next car, but I'll be keeping my Shelby, not trading it.

MMcGuirk
Are you kidding me? The CTS V looks like an alien, it has no style or heritage. GM is after the BMW, MB, Lexus customer - not a Shelby enthusiast!

mach 1 1970
Ford did away with( new edge) styling back in 2004 .That caddy looks like it belongs on a railroad track where the cows hang out. I remember when caddy went racing in the prototype class , not one win and gave up. I am sorry but i can't stand anything they put on the market. They tried to compete with Mercedes years ago and failed. Hell if it wasn't for Bush 2 they failed again.
SGT/SC#0471
GT350. Caddy is cool, but styling/image is not for me. I am not a yuppie banker (no offense to yuppie bankers, just sayin...)

William Rodgers
Sorry not a chance I would pick the Caddy, terrible cars in my opinion, I do not care how fast they are. The Shelby looks ten times better. If I had a Shelby and was going for a Daily Driver in that price range I would be all over a 996 series 911 Turbo, you could get one in like new condition for that price. If I had to get new I would take the M3 all day long over that or the Lexus.
SVTpower
Ford really needs to learn how to install wide tires..........that looks stupid and cheap on the
twobjshelbys
According to the web site Bondurant's driving school uses GM products, among them the 2007 CTS-V. Maybe the GT350 will get him back to Ford/Shelby Products!
Matts
I would buy the CTS-V for the koni challenge ( no car leaves unhurt) I would buy the Shelby for the cool factor and when I want to pick up chicks on the weekend.

ChrisSD
I would buy the Shelby for the cool factor and when I want to pick up chicks on the weekend. Chicks won't know or care, they see "Mustang". CTS-V will pull more tail =)
SGT0225
Chicks won't know or care, they see "Mustang". CTS-V will pull more tail =) That Caddy has a strange resemblence to a honda civic, or accord. I am a FORD guy, I wont pay that much for a Caddy. +1 GT350

They both have 2 doors, 4 seats, front mounted engines, v8 supercharged and they both cost around $65k Spend time more useful... lol One is a luxury car and the other a sports car...I am a big fan of the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe or 4-door but these are 2 totally different cars! WildAzCat
My wife drives a CTS. It's an awesome drive. All the comforts and quiet of a luxury car with speed to boot. Personally I love my SGT, F150 and Expy but the Caddy is total comfort. Lets not even talk about the difference in dealer customer service. At the Caddy dealership I can wait in the dealership cafe with free coffee, pastries and breakfast sandwiches. They have even asked if I wanted a loner due to lengthy service. At my Ford dealership where I bought my Expy, F150 and SGT I get a bottle of water while I wait outside on a metal bench...
DubbsFaris
Yeah, Caddilac and Lexus have to really make their customers comfortable while they wait for their cars to get serviced. Sit back and relax while you get to enjoy Fox News channel and 3 hour old coffee while you wait 2 hours for a $100 oil change...great service. I wouldn't know how comfortable the Ford dealership is. I never need to sit and wait there. I will say that my local dealer has a full deli and couches.

shelbydream1
I have a friend who works for a Chevy dealer and he says the 2012 Z28 might not make it to production, so you may be waiting a while. Cadillac is a glorified chevy malibu-both suck. Give me the GT350 any day over that.
KomradAndre
It depends on how you like to fight... with your fists= GT350 or with your laser gun=CTV coupe The fists are more rewarding, but a laser gun is neat. looks-wise the caddy looks like a woman's shoe in my opinion... as i have been known to be hit by a woman's shoe, time to time. I'd choose the GT350. but i know alot of people that would get that shoe.
Don Johnston
My neighbor just got his white CTS-V. Looks wierd but sounds nice...for a Caddy. And I have a white 2003 DeVille in my driveway. But what I really enjoy my 66 GT350/ Paxton supercharged and look forward to getting a 2011 GT350. Stripes just wouldn't look right on a Caddy! 09KR0058
Its not very often that I compliment GM, but that pop-up nav screen is really sweet. Still wouldn't want the CTS myself, but that nav system is pretty clever!
