gassman Posted February 10, 2010 Report Share Posted February 10, 2010 Just keep in mind that the hood blanket is designed to snuff out an engine fire if one should occur. Those little plastic thingies are designed to melt and drop the blanket over the engine. Just my $0.02 That's why I have an fire extinguisher in the car. Hood liner is not required. BEEKAY GT500 Posted February 16, 2010 Report Share Posted February 16, 2010 it will probably take some time before anyone notices anything wrong with the stripes. not saying that something will go wrong just saying it wont just show up. btw, i've had mine off for a few years and stil not showing any damage to the stripes. i do keep the hood up after drives when i get home.
