Dig-It
Everything I've seen or read to date has shown or stated that the gauges will be mounted to the A-pillar. However, the GT350 article in the March '10 edition of Motor Trend magazine states that customers can choose between the A-pillar setup or a gauge pod mounted on top of the center of the dash. Has anyone else heard of this being an option?

Nope haven`t heard about the dash mounted pod for the 350, although it had been mentioned on the G.T350 forum as an option they would like to see addded. I believe SAI will keep the dash pod gauge mount exclusive to the S.S other Shelbys. OMO
Dig-It
Can't say I mind either way. I just found it interesting that it's not mentioned anywhere else but in this magazine.
DubbsFaris
Well, the techs at SAI I talked to said the 2010+ interior just doesnt look right with the center dash mount. All the SSs I saw in the back shop had A pillar mounted gauges....they look great guys...love it personally.
GAFSoldier
I was sitting one time in a car with a A-pillar gauge when somebody hit the car in the front driver side and after this the driver had the gauge in the face. It had looks funny for me at this time but since this day no more A-pillar gauge for me. Also I must say I love the look from the dash pod gauge more then from the A-pillar and if they bring it out for the 10' and 11' I will order one for my car. 07 Shelby GT-H
The A-pillar gauge looks poor to me, I would prefer the dash mounted version....one hopes they offer that to those of us who prefer it....
tony356
i'm not a huge fan of the a-pillar guages either - if that's all that offered it's ok but if i had a choice i'd pick dash mount.
