m81mclaren
My warranty will be coming up in April and wanted to get feedback from the group here on what potential items I should be looking for to take care of before expiration. Here are a few ones I see but would like to know if you have experienced any other things I should watch out for or have double-checked. Car is 100% stock. 1) clutch/tranny TSB 091911B- I'm up to speed on this one! 2) Vert top wear marks- TSB#07-17-8 3) tire valve stem TSB#? 4) I'm getting a significant carpet wear right below the gas pedal (no wisecracks please!) after only a couple of thousand miles. Anyone else have this? My interior is otherwise immaculate so seems premature to be wearing so bad no? 5) rear end is leaking around the cover (not sure if this is coming from the vent tube or if it is an actual gasket leak 6) metal on metal squeal @ 4K RPMS when slowly bringing up the revs especially noticable in 2nd gear. Seems to me to be some kind of pulley bearing going bad but not sure. Cheers, M81Mclaren
m81mclaren
Here is pic of the carpet. Seems like there is a bump that protrudes and creates a wear point. Do just the early cars have this?

stillmy428
Just got my car for TSB.I also am showing the same wear spots on top. When i showed the service manager he looked at it and checked for TSB.Told me he didn't see one but that he would put on my sheet that it was brought to the dealers attention. So all i can assume is .....that they are not concerned. Will provide feeback to all as I get to know my car again after the winter slumber and new repairs. So far the new 2010 cluthc feels really good! The new top is nice and has a small rain tray/bump on the edge just above the door. Will post some pics in a bit.
