Fordrules
Our GT500 arrived 1/7/07 on Sunday Morning. The Ford 800 line told me on Friday she would arrive on the 19th!!! The transport driver was great! The church is close to the dealership so he asked in the back of church if there was someone there who could receive the Shelby. They let Charles (our dealer) know the transport driver needed help so Charles had to leave the service. The transport driver was very careful unloading to make sure the airdam would clear. He said he had delivered 4 shelby's now and was working 7 days a week so her could buy his own. He has delivered two reds, one white, and our vista bllue. He said there was no way he was just dropping it off. Charles took pictures of the unloading. We drove out to see her. She is filthy but gorgeous. The engine compartment is completely used up with that monster! The interior is pure Shelby. I love all the insignias. We started her up and revved her up a little but she didn't have much fuel and only had 9 miles on her. We did give Charles permission to fuel her up before we come back and do a photoshoot with her and my husband's cousins 68 Shelby GT350. I will send some of those pics. The ones I took tonight are too dark. I will add a couple of lighter ones but they won't do her justice. Charles had everything on Coldwater's list of what to get except maybe two smaller items. My husband has been grinning since we got the call at around 2pm. One thing she demands is R-E-S-P-E-C-T! I can't wait to get her out on the open road! Thanks for all the support here at Stangsunleashed!

Fordrules
On another note: Charles, our dealer, said he was approached by another Dealer for his marketing paraphenalia. He said he would give him $25 for one of the posters. Charles said no, he was giving it to his customer, and asked why, and the other dealer said, "to sell on ebay for $50!" We are doing the big photo shoot with our Shelby and the 68 Shelby owned by my husband's cousin today. Will have pics by tonight.
