mannwa
I had the issue of my paint not matching on the installed SS body parts by a friend who runs his own body shop. I never noticed the slight difference before and was told by the body shop man white is a hard color to match due to the many variations of white. The new parts actually have more of a green tint and the body has a red tint so to speak. Basically the wrong mix of white paint was applied. I also was shown some pretty bad sanding marks in the hood along with the leading edge of the hood staring to become more of yellow color that the rest of the hood. I keep my SS indoors covered and never driven in the rain. Wondering if anyone else has had the same problems. 08SS0415

I've looked at it carefully in both sunlight and florescent light and cant see any problems

08jester
Grabber Orange here, and there is a slight color difference. I was warned by SAI when I was initially set up for that shop and then again from Quantum that ended up modifying the car.

mannwa
Thanks for the info. I am not sure what I am going to do right now or if its even worth bothering with trying to make it match. Quantum told me about fitment issues but no warning with matching the paint. I understand problems with the fiberglass hood but the side scoops are really noticable now it has been brought to my attention.
