07SGT5637 HAS MET AN EARLY DEMISE

Well, it looks like there is one less Shelby GT in world. 07SGT5637 has met an early demise. Car was from Wisconsin and was just purchased from a salvage auction in Madison WI. It was sold as "parts only" so no chance that it will be rebuilt and put back on the road. The new owner is going to use it as a donor car to build a "body in white" for track use. I have included a couple photos. They're not real great but will give you an idea of the damage. Will try to post some better pics if I can get them before the car is disassembled. Dealer sticker on the rear says it came from Koenicke Ford in Reedsburg, WI. Not sure what the story was. It might be interesting to hear if anyone knows what happened.

Thanks for handling that Steve. I haven't had a chance to send that info to Roger yet.

No problem. Things like this can be sent to me at stevent@shelbyamerican.com

We will soon have a area where members can post their wrecked & totaled finds. Always try to get both the vin and the CSM # to document the carnage.

You beat me to it. I was going to say LOOK AT THAT NICE SCOOP

Funny you should say that. The hood scoop and stripes actually do look better than mine!! BTW....It only had 8100 miles on it.
