shelby gt h wheels 20"

Recommended Posts

Can anyone tell me where to get some wider stock appearing 20" wheels for my GT H? Does anyone know how wide of a rear tire and rim will fit without rubbing? I was wanting to get some 20x8 for the fronts and 20x10 for the rear. I have seen some postings that a 10" wide wheel will fit on the rear but I am not sure form the posting if it were a GT or a 500. Thanks for the help!

These are Bullitts from American Muscle in Anthracite, though they also offer Black or Chrome:

18 x 9 with 255/45 Nittos in the front, 18 x 10 with 275/40 in the back. Same widths in 20" will work with the SGT, but tire size will determine if it rubs or not.

Someone else here on the forum has/had the twenties in this style, maybe they will chime in!

I can tell you from personal experience that a 10" wheel will fit on the front and back. I have an 07 GT that had this set up all the way around. I liked the stock tires and wheels better so put them back on...so now I have a nice new set a of these gathering dust! I can send you a picture if you like.:

I have 20x8.5 with 255/30/20 on the front and 20x10 with 275/30/20 on the rear. No rubbing, no problems. I had my tire shop fit a used 295 on the rear and it fit fine also. When my rears wear out I'll replace them with the wider 295's. :peelout:

The Foose Legends look great. No silver? The price of all four 20's with Toyo tires is good. I definitely need 295's or 305's on the rear of mine. I think I'll put the 275's I have on the rear on the front and ditch the 255's I have up front now. That's the only thing I dont like about my SGT...the dead-on rear view. The 275's just aren't meaty enough.

Talk to the guys at CCW wheels. I'm pasting a reply to an email I sent them. These guys know their stuff. Here's the reply....

have done many s197 cars, even bought an 06 for shop development back in 2007,

most of the time we run 9.5 or 10" wide fronts and 11" rears,

in a 19/20 combo, rear tire selection, as far as street tires goes, would be best done with 305 30 20

either pirelli pzeros or toyo t1r's (as currently they are the only ones offering that size).

as they fill the fenders niceley without coming out from under the car

if you want to stay with the sp500, we would be looking at an all 19" setup and a 295 35 19 (stock tire diameter)

or 305 30 19 (3/4" shorter tire, wich looks good if the cars is lowered)

here are pics of the shop car running 19x10fr/19x11 rear with 285 30 19 front and 305 30 19 rear
