terry092753
Dont have any good new pics. But here's what i have. Love your car. Have the same year and color scheme. I will be going with the CS40's as well, just in chrome. I sent you a PM (Don't know what that is) to ask you about your side scoops and window louvers, 'cause they look good. I am sorry again 'bout using this wheel forum to get info about louvers, but I am 'bout "Half A**ed" when it comes to navigating this forum stuff! 08 Mustang
when I was considering wheels for my car, there a few, but in the end it came down to the Steeda Spyders and Alcoas....guess you can see which ones I ended up with..LOL!! LuckySnake
If you are going for looks, I like the Alcoas best and I believe they are USA made. Your other choices are nice as well. Your OK with Americans buying Chineese wheels?
txcobra
How about a few more pics of your 40th?! Don't mean to hijack the thread, but here are a couple (BTW: the Alcoas are going on the KR, not the 40th):
LuckySnake
Just another opinion, but fake bolts on a one piece or two piece wheel are pretty lame. Nothing wrong with a good looking cast rim, but leave the poseur stiff for the teens. What's next, fake carbon fiber? I also think the bolts would make them a little more difficult to clean, they are a very nice looking wheel and are about 10 times better looking than stock. Have to agree about the fake bolts on the CS40's. They melted when I had my CS40's powdercoated black Then I had to find hex screws have them powder coated and tap all of the threads for real screws. Looking back should have put screws in then powder coated.
super hiss
I have CS40's in black. Everywhere i go. People say "Hey love the wheels". How big are they. I say 20's. They say, they don't look that big. As for weight. One pound ether way isn't going to make any difference. Carroll did an awesome job on the CS40 design. I run Nitto DR's and they fit 10 inch wide wheels perfect. If you going to run a tire bigger then 305/35/20 then id get Steeda wheels. If not then the Shelby's wheels looks awesome and with DR's you can pull low 1.7's at the track. Maybe even a little lower on a good track day.. One vote for CS40's with DR's. People stand at attention and when you pull up with CS40's........ is your car lowered any? if so how much, what type of suspension, and you personally are running the 305/35/20? if so can i see a close up picture. im going to get these wheels in the near future and i lowered my car 1.25" from stock hieght and need to see the clearence top wise and width wise
