FordRocks1
Getting ready to order a panhard bar any suggestion between these? Any personal reviews? I hear good things about this one(J&M) because if you decide to go street/race app, you only need to buy the ends. I am leaning towards this one plus free shipping, can't beat that. http://www.americanmuscle.com/jm-panhard-0509.html http://www.bmrfabrication.com/2005MustangSUSPENSION.htm http://www.bmrfabrication.com/05Mustang/panhardRods-Large.jpg The adjustable one PHR006 Tubular "On-Car" Adjustable Panhard Rod Or The CHE adjustable one? http://www.lethalperformance.com/05-09-mustang-gt-suspension-panhard-bars-che-engineering-c-576_795_811_2841/che-05-09-mustang-gt-severe-duty-adjustable-panhard-bar-p-17023 Thanks. Oh yeah, I just ordered the UPR adjustable camber kit for $40, we will see how it holds up. I don't do road course so I didn't go with CC plates, I only do drag racing. http://www.uprproducts.com/mustang-adjustable-camber-plate-kit-05.html
clark17357
If you go with another panhard bar rather than a Watts Link, just make sure it is adjustable so you can center your axle should you lower your car. Jim Edit: My mistake - you have a SGT so you are already lowered. All the more reason to get the adjustable version.
mikewheels
I've used the BMR adjustable with poly ends on my last two cars to fit 305 drag radials and they have worked well for me. No noise, grease fittings on the ends, adjustable on car, reasonable price.
motorjock205
I'm with MIKEWHEELS on this one...I purchased a BMR adjustable bar from another TS member and it was an easy upgrade and it works great with no noise at all. You have to have the car on the ground to adjust the bar and get it right. I used some string with some weight tied on the ends and centered it over the wheel well to the center of the axle. Then when I made my adjustments, I measured the distance between the tire and the string on both sides until I got them equal. Tightened everything up and she's stayed tight ever since. Makes a difference in the way the car launches too! Part # PHR006 Tubular "On-Car" Adjustable Panhard Rod The one in the center of your pics of BMR panhard bars. Very easy to adjust on the car. Hope this helps, Carl
Ackman70
I use all CHE parts and could not be happier. Unlike some other manufacturers out there you won't hear the horror stories about CHE parts or service.

A breeze to install! Sam
08 Mustang
I've used the BMR adjustable with poly ends on my last two cars to fit 305 drag radials and they have worked well for me. No noise, grease fittings on the ends, adjustable on car, reasonable price. PHR006 - that's the one that I always suggest...price is comparable to others and the adjustment/jam nuts are in a location that makes adjusting everything very simple. 6-Speed
I would recommend two panhard bars. One is the BMR adjustable PHB, which is what I have on my car. And the other is the Sphon adjustable with a poly bushing on one end and their Del-Sphere end on the other. Both are designed so their jam nuts are positioned away from the end that attaches to the chassis, which makes it easier to tighten down once the length is set. The Sphon PHB's Del-Sphere end allows some articulation, which is a neat feature; and the poly end should help keep noise to a low level. http://www.spohn.net/shop/2005-2008-Ford-Mustang/Suspension/Panhard-Bars/Panhard-Bar-Tubular-Adjustable-with-Poly-Del-Sphere-Pivot-Joint-Combo.html

robert.clark2
Anyone use the SPP adjustable bar? I haven't seen it mentioned. I will be having Quantum Performance install one for me, and we are going with the SPP. I have no intention of racing the car. I am mainly purchasing to get a better alignment as I have recently added 1" spacers and wider tires to the car and it has a tendency to exacerbate the visual difference in alignment. The SPP panhard bar should be fine. It has the jam nuts at the ends so it could be a bit tricky tightening the one on the passenger side, but it can be done. http://www.shelbyperformanceparts.com/ShowItem/101945%20Panhard%20Bar.aspx

As 6-speed said, the location of the jam nuts aren't in the nicest location for adjusting and locking down, but with allot of patience, it can be done. 2007_Shelby_GT
That's a very nice looking bar. As 6-speed said, the location of the jam nuts aren't in the nicest location for adjusting and locking down, but with allot of patience, it can be done. Except for the Shelby logo, it looks nearly identical to the Steeda unit. Same issue with the jam nuts. Don't forget to upgrade the panhard brace as well! Either bar would work well for my driving habits, but I suppose I would have gone with a Watts link if I was going to track the SGT. Sam
raymond_chase
Ackman70 --- Are you running with the CHE Axle Brace? If so, how is it? ...and how much clearance does it take away? Thanks in advance for any feedback.
