She will be there!!! We have not began the real advertising yet. Mustang times is running a add in the Dec issue page 33. A banner should be placed on this site soon. Mustang clubs around America will be advertising this. Thunderbird clubs and Shelby clubs will also be advertising this and many other key car lover sites so i feel these tickets will sell out quickly once the advertising begins.

The hot chick Guardians of Animals volunteer coordinator Jessica and she will be handing over the keys!!!

SHELBY GT500KR AND BARRETT-JACKSON VIP PACKAGE

RAFFLE TO BENEFIT GUARDIANS OF ANIMALS

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Dec. 11, 2009 – Guardians of Animals is raffling a 2009 Shelby GT500KR, along with a trip for two to the Shelby Automobiles factory in Las Vegas and a Barrett-Jackson VIP package valued at $2,000. Raffle tickets are $50 and can be purchased online at www.racingtosaveanimals.com through Jan. 04, 2010. Guardians of Animals, which is based in Charlotte, N.C., is a registered non-profit organization run by volunteers who are deeply dedicated to the welfare of animals. The 501C3 organization’s primary focus is to reduce “puppy mills”, which are places where dogs are used solely for breeding purposes while being kept in small cages.

Guardians of Animals helps in the following ways:

• Investigate puppy mills

• Take possession of abused/neglected animals

• Educate pet stores to not purchase from puppy mills

• Educate consumers to ask more questions about where their new pet comes from

• Educate children to spot harmful behavior towards animals

“People who operate puppy mills only care about how their animals produce puppies, yet consistently mistreat the animals,” noted April Reece, founder of Guardians of Animals. “We're extremely grateful for the support from companies like Shelby Automobiles and the Barrett-Jackson Auction Company. We're especially excited about the opportunity to increase awareness of the deplorable conditions presented by puppy mills across the country.”

The 2009 Shelby GT500KR features a 540 hp 5.4-liter supercharged V-8 with a Ford Racing Power Upgrade Pack, 3.73:1 rear axle ratio, short-throw shifter, and unique suspension tuning. Exterior design draws inspiration from the classic Shelby KR Mustangs and features unique carbon composite hood, wheels, and unique striping. The Shelby GT500KR or "King of the Road" Mustang is the fourth limited-edition Mustang that Shelby Automobiles and Ford have brought to market since resuming their collaboration in 2001. It builds on the performance and success of the Shelby GT500, the most powerful production Mustang ever.

Barrett-Jackson, producer of "The World's Greatest Collector Car Auctions™," is also getting involved in the raffle by offering a VIP package for the 2010 Palm Beach event on April 1-3. The Barrett-Jackson VIP package includes 2 VIP passes, 1 parking pass, 2 tickets to Opening Night Gala and 1 Event Program.

“We hope the public will join our cause by purchasing a raffle ticket for this Racing to Save Animals Raffle,” added Reece. “Guardians of Animals is a 100 percent volunteer organization, which means every dime goes directly to the care, maintenance, health, transporting and investigation of animals.”

I have an email that tells me the raffle date has been extended to January 31, 2010, and that they have sold 800 of the required 3,500 whatever-they-ares. There will be a 50-50 split if the full-enablement of the KR isn't reached.

Buy some more whatever-they-ares. OK?

SHELBY GT500KR AND BARRETT-JACKSON VIP PACKAGE

RAFFLE TO BENEFIT GUARDIANS OF ANIMALS EXTENDED

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Jan. 5, 2010 – Guardians of Animals has extended its deadline to raffle a 2009 Shelby GT500KR, along with a trip for two to the Shelby Automobiles factory in Las Vegas and a Barrett-Jackson VIP package valued at $2,000. The extension was made because several new sponsors asked to be involved in the charity fundraiser and provided new incentives for people to purchase raffle tickets.

“We've been very fortunate to gain the support of companies like Shelby Automobiles and the Barrett-Jackson Auction Company, and now Station Casinos and Dallas Mustang have offered to help us raise money by sweetening the raffle ticket offer,” said April Reece, founder of Guardians of Animals. “By extending the deadline and providing some additional incentives, we hope to really kick the fundraising into top gear to help stop the cruelty created by puppy mills.”

Raffle tickets are $50 and can be purchased online at www.racingtosaveanimals.com through Jan. 31, 2010. Dallas Mustang (http://www.dallasmustang.com) will give customers that purchase a raffle ticket 10 percent off their order through the month of January 2010; some restrictions apply and not all items are eligible for the discount. Station Casinos (http://www.stationcasinos.com) will provide a room in one of their Las Vegas properties for the winner when they visit Las Vegas to pick up their Shelby GT500KR.

Hello my wife is the founder of Guardians of Animals. I love saving Animals as much as she does. I also am a huge Shelby fan !!! I worked very hard to put this event together so she could expand her mission of compassion and speak up for those who can't speak for themselves. It is my belief in non-profit that it is all about making the word a better place. At Guardians of Animals thats exactly what we try to do. In times past we have taken Dogs to the special needs childrens home. When a mother tells you that her son who was injured in a tragic car accident moved the first time in rehab to pet one of the rescues we brought now this will tug at your heart. Or when you help a elderly family get the family dog back of nine year because it was stolen by a guy wanted in 12 states for auto theft and he happen to steal their car while the dog was in it thats heart touching.

When you meet the owner of a pet store who sells dogs from puppy mills and kindly approach them and say "i am not here to hurt you, i would only like to help" and you show them undercover video of where their dogs come from and tears flow down their cheek because they didn't know. The same owner publically speaks out agianst puppy mills and begans to offer rescue puppies from their store. Now this is a true victory.

Please take a moment to withness one of these special moments you can view it here. My link

Yes you will see some things in the media about Guardians of Animals and work similar to this. However is it not the goal of Guardians of Animals to only do work for attention. We simply love helping animals and love sharing out success directly with the human lives our work does.

This event will make our dreams come true to expand and be a part of making the word a better place through kindness and compassion.

We have several great sponsors for this event, however due to the holiday season we was not able to reach enough people to sell all the tickets or enough needed to give the car away. We could of ended this event and gave away nearly $20k and a great trip to Barrett-Jackson but i am determined to give this car away.

Please purchase a ticket from this event and share it with your friends. If you have any suggestions please email dcr@guardiansofanimals.org .

I would like to personally thank Team Shelby for all the hard work you have put into this event. Gary and Robert i simply can't thank you enough.

Kevin
