rigger
As mentioned in other forum, I got swirl marks on car. Any suggestions on how to get rid of this. I have Zaino Z5 pro, but do not have Z-pc, Anybody know what the difference is and which will work better? Thanks in advance.
kb67
My humble .02 First have you done a couple coats of the Z-5 pro, if you have I'd check to see what you are using to wipe down and wash with, I'd check into getting some good microfiber towels the site recommends 100% all cotton towels heres there advice on that. http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/mercha...mp;Store_Code=Z If everything from that side is a OK I'd try Z-PC. http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/mercha...gory_Code=Zaino I used the Z-PC on a Redfire Metallic sporttrac after I had prepped ( I washed using dawn to get old wax off and then I used a clay bar on each panel to get the poo off the clear coat I then rewashed with the Z-7 car wash from Zanios) Then I used the Z-PC with one of the applicators I got in the kit. I did each panel as 4 sections to make sure I had good coverage. I also checked each panel for scratches as I did them. The Z-PC really helped with a couple bad scratches I had in the clear coat it pulled 2 of them out all the way and really blended the others I had to the point you really had to look for them to see them. You need to follow the instructions given at the Zanio site on amount and how you apply it alittle went along way. You can't use this stuff all the time I've used it once as a baseline start to get a good foundation to put wax on. I finish up with this http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/mercha...gory_Code=Zaino I've had really good luck using a microfiber towel and the detailing spray together after washing I spray the towel a few times before I start, I only spritz alittle on the panel and just wipe it down I keep a dry microfiber in my pocket to help if I get a little streaking as I'm wiping it down. I've used both detailing sprays they both where really good so its a personal choice as to which you run with. I use them both the Z-6 utlra the most I use the Z-8 maybe once a month in place of the Z-6. Hopefully if you need you can knock it out with some Z-PC and be right back in business. it worked good for me.

fly
Black cars are beautiful but after having three I decided just to appreciate the hard work of others to make them look good. I have a pal with a black Mercedes that swears by Ming Not sure if anyone has experience with this but his car looks fantastic.

They will tell you to start with a base. If the swirls are real minor you might get away with it.

Grabber
scgt has never cut me any slack on misspelling a darn thing! He is ruthless and relentless when it comes to the spelling issues of his fellow stangers. This all stems back from when he was a young child and he lost the world championship Spelling "B" of America title. He has never been the same since. Just ignore him from now on, thats my plan. The other thing you could do is spell things wrong on purpose to drive him up a wall. I sometimes do this. It is fun to watch him go off on a spelling correction tangent. Try it, you will see.

Son of GT
Thanks so much for the link to the micro fiber towels. I just ordered a 6 pack of them. Buying Microfiber towels? Costco or Sam's club. A bundle of 25 towels goes for about $9.75 ea. For that price they are almost disposible. TIP: Don't ever use fabric softener when washing Microfiber towels because it breaks the Microfibers down which in turn causes the towels to loose that "grippy" property that is normally associated with that type of fabric.
