rnoggle
Can anyone tell me if the stock wheels off my '07 SGT will fit on an '03 Mustang? I thought I read somewhere that the newer Mustang wheels will fit the older car, but not the opposite.
4632R
I thought the 05 up cars were different, I went out and measured my 08 vs. 03, they both appear to be 4.5 inch bolt circle if I measured correctly. I do not know about backspacing, the Shelby's have a lot. That may be an issue on a sn-95 (quad shocks and control arms) Good luck.
MMcGuirk
You need a spacer, I believe 14mm
David Hawkins
I installed a set of 2007 Premium V6 16" Wheels & Tires on my 1999 V6 Mustang (no spacers needed) with no problems and it looked great.

That's basically what I am doing. 2007 GT wheels on an 03 V6. I thought I read somewhere that the spacer was only needed when installing earlier wheels on an 05 and up car. Possibly needed to allow cleareance for the brakes?

Plus, Spacers are needed on the 1965 to 1973 Mustangs if you are installing 1994 to 2010 Mustang Wheels.
VINumUS GT
We put some 08 Shelby GT rims on a buddy of mines 03 GT. We used a 1/4 spacer on the front and 5/16 on the rear, and ended up using a 1" bolt on spacer for the rear to push the rim to the edge of the fender.
