Now there are different types of limited slip differentials as well - Ford uses a clutch type "Traction Loc" differential in the GT500. Limited slip (LSD= limited slip differential) is a generic term. As an previous poster mentioned, there are various types of LSD, including clutch, cone, viscous, etc...
