foooz
I have been searching for a couple of hours but have not found any tips / recommendations on cleaning the top. What is the best way to clean and care for my top? scott
mrfarmdog
I just wash mine about every month or so with the same McGuiers wash I use on my car. However, I do not use my sheepskin mitt. I have a blue one with long nap like shag carpet I use as it doesn't leave any fine hairs on the top. I then rinse good and dry it with The Absorber! Great product for your car overall and it sucks the water right out of your top.
mrfarmdog
Almost forgot. I use a lint roller on my in between washings to take care of anything else that is on it.
Sherri Leicht
I just spray it well with lots of water when I wash the car, no soap. Let it dry and lint roller in between if it needs it.
thewheelman
I never use soap on the cloth top....didn't on my Sebring either. Just around the rear window, and spotting it where bird poop or such gets on it. Otherwise, lots of water to rinse the dust off....
tispco
I just washed my fabric top today with RaggTopp and a soft brush. It worked great. Here is a link to the product and a short video on cleaning your top. http://www.autogeek.net/covtopplas.html +1 on the lint roller. It works well.
